Several services for campus and online users with a disability are facilitated by the Counselling and Disability Services team. There are multiple services available for students, as well as staff who provide advice and support to students. Visitors to campus can also find information about available access services from the team.
The University has developed the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP), which aims to improve access to education. The principles of Universal Design are part of the foundation for the DAIP and the plan outlines strategies for developing an accessible and inclusive environment for staff, students and visitors with disabilities.
Alongside the DAIP are several initiatives, resources and services for people with disabilities to improve access across campus to both physical environment, as well as learning and development opportunities.
